Project Overview
Engaging the Fortnite community during lockdown
We collaborated with Epic Games and LAPA Studio for a unique Halloween campaign. As part of the Yama Studio team, we took charge of the creative direction and executed the entire campaign across 13 languages for the #MYFORTNITEMARES Papercraft Cosplay event.
We partnered with LAPA Studio to create three masks and three mini foldable paper toys for fans to print and build at home.
Each mask included two sets of instructions: one printable that can be built immediately and one for those searching for a challenge. This option offered a template for a customisable cardboard build, allowing fans to create a custom FORTNITE skin.
A global micro-site for exchanging community-built content.
Users were able to choose from different characters, as well as different build options for each character. This user-generated content was seeded out to the brand’s social platforms, spreading the FORTNITE community’s collective creativity. The microsite was built for 13 languages, including fully localised instructions for each.
